1. How do I obtain publications from the Division of Aging and Seniors?

You may download the documents from the Internet;

OR, you may order a print copy of the publication (if available) by contacting us;

OR, by completing our online Publications Order Form.

2. Are all publications available in print?

No, only those publications with this icon [Order] are available in print.

3. Is there a fee for your publications or CDs?

All of our publications are available free of charge, including the CDs.

4. How long does it take to receive the publications by mail?

Delivery may take between 4 to 6 weeks. Please ensure that we have all the necessary information for delivery: the title of the publication, your first and last names, the complete Canadian mailing address (including postal code) and a telephone number where you can be reached during the day.

5. How many copies of any publication may I order? May I order more than one copy?

Normally, you may receive one copy of the publication you order.

6. May I order one of all the publications listed?

You may order only up to ten different titles.

7. May I obtain multiple copies for a special event?

Yes, you may order multiple copies for a special event. However, advance notice and justification are required.

8. Do I need special permission to photocopy or reproduce these publications?

Publications may not be reproduced for commercial purposes, but any other reproduction with proper credit, consent, and acknowledgements is encouraged.

9. Where can I obtain copies urgently?

All Government of Canada publications are sent to depository libraries across Canada. These are located in larger universities and colleges.

OR, you may download the documents from the Internet.

10. In which language or format are your publications available?

All of the Division's publications are available in both English and French. They can also be made available, upon request, in alternative formats, such as computer diskette, CD or large print. Please contact the Division of Aging and Seniors with your special request.

11. Do you have an online newsletter announcing new publications that I may subscribe to?

The Division of Aging and Seniors does not have an online newsletter. To receive our new publications by mail automatically, you may subscribe to our mailing list by contacting:
