CCDR just turned 40! It began in May 1975.
The Canada Communicable Disease Report, published by the Public Health Agency of Canada, is an open-access, peer-reviewed, online journal on infectious diseases. It is designed for a broad audience that includes clinicians and public health professionals, researchers and policymakers. Authoritative and practical, CCDR publishes rapid communications, original research, summaries of Agency and Advisory Committee statements, as well as useful links to online resources, and continuing education events. Issues are published electronically on the first Thursday of each month and there are additional supplements through-out the year.
Versions of this online report for previous years are available in the Government of Canada Web Archive.
