Recommendations

TGAP’s deliberations have generated two categories of recommendations, compiled from its analysis of the issues fundamental to a government decision on the provision of antivirals for prophylaxis and based on current knowledge as of April 2007. The first relates to the specific use of the National Antiviral Stockpile during the course of a pandemic. The other recommends additional steps governments are urged to take in order to optimize the benefits to Canadians of a decision by governments on the issue of antivirals for prophylaxis.
