9.6 Summary

Overall, this case study initiative has shown that the regions are indeed mobilizing population health in ways that are consistent with current knowledge, and that their efforts can inform and develop the theoretical framework for population health in important ways. As the practice of population health mobilization continues to inform theory, successive generations of mobilization efforts can be increasingly successful in producing desired changes in Canadians' health and well-being.
