7. Case Study: Partnerships For Intersectoral Action In Alberta And The Alberta Community HIV Fund

7.1 Methodology

The case study involved semi-structured interviews with six individuals in Health Canada, Alberta Health and Wellness, and community-based organizations, as well as a group interview with eight members of the HIV Working Group. A structured review was carried out of documents relating to the Intersectoral Action Workshops and Toolkit, as well as the ACHF funding process. This included the terms of reference for the management mechanisms, an evaluation report and various other related reports and documents. A complete list of persons interviewed and documentary sources may be found in Appendices 2 and 3.
