About the Portal

The Public Health Agency of Canada’s Canadian Best Practices Portal is a collection of effective community interventions related to chronic disease prevention and health promotion. These interventions have been evaluated, shown to be successful, and may be used by health and other practitioners. The CBPP offers:

• A catalogue of best practice systematic review sites;
• A searchable database of interventions; and
• Resources to inform public health planning, chronic disease prevention and health promotion activities.
