Cadets is a national program for youth ages 12 to 18.  The Cadet Program offers challenge, friendship and adventure!  It's an opportunity to expand horizons, contribute to the community and make friends for life.

Canadian Food Inspection Agency - Consumer Centre
Consumers have a key role to play in keeping food safe. To help them in this role, the CFIA informs Canadians about safe food-handling practices and various food-safety risks through its website, food safety fact sheets, and the Canadian Partnership for Consumer Food Safety Education.  

Centre for Excellence Child Welfare

Citizenship and Immigration Canada

National Clearinghouse on Family Violence
The NCFV is Canada's resource centre for information on violence within relationships of kinship, intimacy, dependency or trust. NCFV resources and services are available free of charge in both English and French.

Office of the Federal Ombudsman for Victims of Crime
The Office of the Federal Ombudsman for Victims of Crime is a new, independent resource for victims in Canada. Victims can contact the Office to learn more about their rights under federal law and the services available to them, or to make a complaint about any federal agency or federal legislation dealing with victims of crime.
