4.6 I feel that my teachers care about me as a person, by grade and gender (%)

Figure 4.6 shows the percentage of students who report that their teachers care about them as a person, by grade and gender. The graph shows that 71% of Grade 6 boys report that their teachers care about them as a person, compared to 65% of Grade 7 boys, 60% of Grade 8 boys, 53% of Grade 9 boys, and 52% of Grade 10 boys. On the same question, 78% of Grade 6 girls report that their teachers care about them as a person, compared to 67% of Grade 7 girls, 61% of Grade 8 girls, 56% of Grade 9 girls, and 55% of Grade 10 girls.
