Figure 2.1 is a line graph that shows the percentage of boys who rate their life 8 or higher on a 0-10 scale with 0 being equal to the “worst possible life” and 10 being equal to the “best possible life” by grade and year of survey.  The graph shows that among Grade 6 boys, 67% reported 8 or higher for best possible life in 2002, compared to 62% in 2006 and 62% in 2010.  Among Grade 8 boys, 64% reported 8 or higher for best possible life in 2002, compared to 64% in 2006, and 58% in 2010.  Among Grade 10 boys, 58% reported 8 or higher for best possible life in 2002, compared to 56% in 2006, and 55% in 2010.

Figure 2.3 is a line graph that shows the percentage of boys who agree or strongly agree they have confidence in themselves by grade and year of survey.  The graph shows that among Grade 6 boys, 86% agree or strongly agree they have confidence in themselves in 2002, compared to 86% in 2006 and 85% in 2010.  Among Grade 8 boys, 81% agree or strongly agree they have confidence in themselves in 2002, compared to 80% in 2006, and 79% in 2010.  Among Grade 10 boys, 80% agree or strongly agree they have confidence in themselves in 2002, compared to 77% in 2006, and 75% in 2010.
