Funding Programs

Population Health Fund

The Population Health Fund (PHF) seeks to achieve three objectives through time-limited project funding:

  • to develop, implement, evaluate, and disseminate models for applying the population health approach
  • to increase the knowledge base for future program and policy development
  • to increase partnerships and develop intersectoral collaboration.

The Population Health Fund supports voluntary, non-profit, and non-governmental organizations to increase their capacity to act on the determinants of health.

The Public Health Agency of Canada periodically conducts solicitations for projects funded through this program.
