The Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) funds 13 projects in New Brunswick. Each project operates a family resource centre managed by a community board of directors. The programs offered by the 13 centres cover the province through a network of about 82 outreach sites, many in isolated rural areas. The family resource centres offer a variety of programs and activities for families with children ages 0 to 6. The centres evaluate their work regularly to find ways to improve their programs and services.
CAPC projects in New Brunswick work with a variety of partners, including New Brunswick's Early Childhood Initiatives and Public Health, the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program, Healthy Baby and Me (HBM)/ Bébé et moi en santé (BMS), literacy organizations, and transition houses.
