At the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) Atlantic, we recognize that groups of people have been excluded from full participation in society. Such exclusion has important health implications. Social and economic inclusion has become an important theme for all our work. We continue to work with community organizations and provincial government departments to develop healthy public policies that promote the social and economic inclusion of all citizens.
